Carlo is a small-town independent filmmaker who loves nothing more than bringing a story to life visually. He is a Parkinson’s sufferer but has vowed never to let this get in the way of his dreams and goals, which, like most independent filmmakers, is to make a successful feature film. He also suffers from heart problems, having had a heart attack at the young age of 31, which taught him to never give up and to keep being creative. While his health presents challenges, it has only strengthened his determination to pursue his passion for filmmaking and achieve his dreams.
Paul is a dedicated assistant director that has been at Film It for over seven years bringing a wealth of experience in the film industry. Paul brings his passion for storytelling to every project he’s a part of. A true family man, Paul balances his creative career with a strong commitment to his loved ones. Over the years, he has honed his skills not only in assistant directing but also in acting and voiceover work, adding depth and versatility to his portfolio. When he’s not on set, you’ll often find him behind the decks as a DJ, sharing his love for music with audiences. Paul’s multifaceted talents and dedication make him an invaluable asset to any team.
Rico White is the Sound Engineer at Film It, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to every project. A close friend of Carlo’s for over 40 years, the two have been inseparable since their school days. Rico has been with Film It for 7 years, known for his dedication to discovering unique locations and his extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry. Beyond his work in film, he also organizes successful boat parties and raves, combining his love for music and entertainment. His commitment to quality sound and creating unforgettable experiences makes him an invaluable part of the team.
Periklis Liakakis is a talented composer and sound designer with a diverse portfolio spanning orchestral and chamber music, film and documentary, animation, opera and musical theatre, dance and theatre, video games, installations, and more. His versatility and creativity have made him a sought-after artist across various mediums. Periklis joined Film It nearly a year ago, with Pinocchio Unleashed marking his first project with the team. His innovative approach to sound design and composition brings a unique depth and atmosphere to every project he works on.
Jennifer Hanniston is one half of the popular social media duo, The Hannistons, with a combined following of 1.6 million. Armed with a BA Hons in Acting and extensive experience in the industry, Jen has joined the Film It team as their Studio Manager. A dynamic and spirited personality, she brings boundless energy and passion to everything she does in the performing arts, whether in front of the camera or behind the scenes. Starting out as a teenage mum, her children have always been the driving force behind her motivation to succeed, inspiring her to achieve her dreams and lead by example. Jen’s dedication and vibrant spirit make her a true asset in the creative world.
Brad Hanniston is the other half of the popular social media duo, The Hannistons, with a combined following of 1.6 million. He began his career on the West End stage in Oliver!, igniting his passion for performance. This success led him to a diverse journey through the music industry, performing in rock bands, boy bands, and eventually running his own businesses. Today, Brad brings his wealth of experience and entrepreneurial spirit to the role of Studio Manager at Film It, where he continues to channel his creativity and leadership in the world of media and production.
Sarah King is responsible for managing the finances at Film It, known for her loyalty and commitment to ensuring the company’s financial health. With a keen eye for detail, Sarah manages budgets and finances with precision, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Her expertise and dedication play a vital role in supporting Film It’s success and growth.
Borbala Korda moved to England from Hungary in 2019 to pursue her passion for special make-up effects. She completed her studies at the University of Bolton in 2023 with a focus on special make-up effects for film and TV. Throughout her university years, Bora gained a wide range of skills, both technical—such as makeup and prosthetics—and personal, including teamwork, problem-solving, working under pressure, and effective communication.
Her strongest skills are in mold making, coloring, and prosthetic application, with additional knowledge in sculpting and ZBrush. Driven by a love for realism, she has developed a deep understanding of human anatomy. Currently, Bora is advancing her expertise through a Prosthetic MA at Falmouth University, learning from industry leaders Neill Gorton and Bradley Greenwood.

Jo left working in education after 10 years to persue a new career path.
She was invited to audition for M•A•C cosmetics and became retail manager for an incredibly talented team, and has been trained by some of the leading artists in the country.
After starting a family, Jo went on to freelance her artistry.
Jo became lead artist and creative designer of Screamland scare attraction for 4 years consecutively.
When lockdown commenced Jo turned to social media to showcase and enhance her skills. Where her body painting went viral and was published in the ‘Living during Coronavirus pandemic’ book, that raised money for NHS charities together. This started her journey through the social platforms.
Creating pieces that caught the attention of colleges and companies qhere she went on to do online talks with media students during the lockdown.
Jo was also invited to work with the award winning HorrifyMe UK, where she has co created portrait work for the horror industry. Jo accompanied her passion for the horror industry by working with editorial companies like Summer’s Abroad events company. Thus, furthering her makeup artistry skills and broadening her spectrum.
Nicki Teal is a skilled makeup artist with 12 years of industry experience, covering a wide range of makeup styles from bridal and occasion looks to catwalks, masterclasses, and more recently, SFX and character makeup. Her talent has taken her to destinations such as Edinburgh, Rhodes, and the South of France for wedding makeup, along with various locations in the North.
In 2020, during the lockdown, Nicki embraced social media to push her creative boundaries, sharing her artistry in videos that quickly went viral, gaining her almost 300,000 followers. Her work has been featured in magazines, as well as on LadBible and BBC Look North. This social media success led her to collaborations with top makeup brands like NARS, L’Oréal, Urban Decay, Lancôme, and Look Fantastic. Now, Nicki is thrilled to take her skills to the next level by joining her first film project and becoming part of the team.
